My name is Holly Webb and I will be your child's second grade teacher this year. This will be my 15th year teaching in second grade and I am very excited about the upcoming year.  I am so glad to be teaching in Clinton where I have lived most of my life. I graduated in May of 2003 from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I am 34 years old and have been married for 15 years. I have two children, Riley age 11 & Hadley age 3.  My favorite activities are painting, walking, watching movies, and shopping.

My goal as a teacher is to be bold. I want to do the best possible job I can and make this year a wonderful and memorable learning experience for your child. I believe that every student is an individual with his/her own special needs and I plan on acknowledging these specific needs. I want to practice effective teaching in which all my students will have the opportunity to learn and grow throughout the entire year.

I also would like to keep the lines of communication between parent and teacher open and running. You may call, write, or e-mail me anytime you have concerns about your child and I will get back with you as soon as I can. I will also be sending home a weekly report every Monday; this note will need to be signed and returned on Tuesday. The weekly report will let you know how your child has done for the week in behavior and work habits; as well as letting you know how many sticks have been pulled for that week.

Thank you for taking time to get to know me a little better and I hope your child has a great time in second grade this year!
